On the way to the Hall our bus passed, at a respectable pace, a funeral procession of 15 to 20 cars and pick-up trucks crawling along in single file. It was our first exposure to any part of a Mexican funeral. Some pick-up trucks carried large wreaths and others carried passengers. It seemed odd that mourners would travel to the burial site crowded in the back of pick-up trucks but so be it. At least the coffin was in a regular hearse.
The meeting went well and I offer you a video peek at the post-meeting chatter. One brother told me this is a noise he loves, the noise of spiritual brothers and sisters enjoying one another's company ...
Following the meeting we went to the 'Tequila & Salsa Restaurant' for a bowl of Aztec Soup. Have I told you about Aztec Soup? Excellent! Carol had tacos and I tried a hamburger on the strength of another visitor's recommendation. My first hamburger in many months, certainly my first in Mexico, and it lived up to the recommendation. Tasty! This is a modest but very good restaurant.
Beat a Big Mac I'll tell you.
